MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS defeated forever? Become a volunteer for a day

An Italian researcher could go down in history for defeating multiple sclerosis. His name is Paolo Zamboni, who seems to have found the cause and possible cure.

The study, which will be published in the prestigious Journal of Vascular Surgery, points out that in 90 percent of cases the disease may be caused by obstruction to the veins that cause poor drainage of the brain.
The Research Manager says, "a less than optimal drainage allows the release of iron and immune cells in brain tissue, so that is damaged. I found that MS patients show a narrowing of the veins which I think is important for the development of disease. "
